The duties and purpose of the District are those prescribed in the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement executed by Member Agencies of the District. The Board of Supervisors has the authority to assign representatives of the Board of Supervisors and it's alternates only.

Affecting Legislation: The CSEDD was formed by a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA) between the Counties of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne and the Cities of Amador City, Angels Camp, Ione, Jackson, Plymouth, Sonora and Sutter Creek, in August 1976.
Term Limit: 1 year Terms, unlimited number of Terms.
