It shall be the duty of the Council of Governments to establish rules for administration of Chapter 1400 of Statutes of the regular Session 1971 regarding the use of monies deposited in the Local Transportation Fund, to review plans and programs of the participating agencies, and to approve claim for projects. It shall be the duty of the Council of Governments to adhere to the rules and regulations promulgated by the Director of Transportation of the State of California. The Board of Supervisors has the authority to assign representatives of the Board of Supervisors and it's alternates only.
Meeting Frequency: The Council shall meet on the second Wednesday of each month (except January and July) at 6:30 PM, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, unless cancelled or otherwise scheduled.
Affecting Legislation: Transportation Development Act of 1998 (Established by Resolution 98-01 adopted January 12, 1998).
Term Limit: 3 year Terms, unlimited number of Terms.
